Jivamukti Basic Class
A Basics Jivamukti class teaches students "how to do" asanas (poses) as well as the use of props. Beginners are encouraged to take all four weeks of the Basic course which runs each month. Intermediate and advanced students will also greatly benefit from exploring the alignment essentials presented in these classes.
It is advisable that a student register for the full 4 week program starting with week one, but a student can also drop into any class at any time during the month. This class is suitable for beginners, but open to all levels of practitioner. A Basics class includes breath awareness, alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, music and relaxation.
Jivamukti Open Class
An open level Jivamukti class works at your own pace, offering options for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. The class theme is drawn from the Jivamukti Focus of the Month, which presents classical yoga teachings relevant to one's life on and off the mat. Open level classes include breath awareness, flowing vinyasa sequences, alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, music, relaxation and meditation.
Jivamukti Workshop
A Jivamukti workshop is a way to deepen your practice and inspires the practitioner to explore different aspects of yoga that you don't always have time for in a weekly class. A workshop can vary from 2 hours to 4 hours depending upon the workshop theme and studio. It is open to practitioners of all levels and includes breath awareness, flowing vinyasa sequences, in-depth alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, music, and relaxation.
